Bach Diagnostics is a multi-specialty pathology group performing both high complexity clinical pathology and diagnostics surgical pathology. Our services cover podiatric pathology, dermatopathology, gastrointestinal pathology, and cytology in addition to advanced molecular genetics testing in molecular microbiology, pharmacogenetics, and toxicology.
Bach Diagnostics is located in the heart of Orange County, California. We developed proprietary methodologies that are some of the most accurate and reliable in the nation. Our advance technologies and methods provide us confidence in our results. We have also partnered up with some of the biggest diagnostic companies to deliver the best care.
We are fully licensed and accredited through the Clinical Laboratory Amendents (CLIA) certification. We adhere to strict proficiency testing through the College of American Pathologists (CAP). We also adhere to all applicable federal and state laws, rules, and regulations.

Dylan Bach, MD, MBA
Founder & CEO
Clinical Pathology Director
Dr. Bach is a board certified Clinical Pathologist and has extensive experience in the clinical laboratory. He received his Medical Doctorate at University of California San Diego and completed his residency in clinical and anatomical pathology at University of California Irvine. He went on to complete his clinical chemistry fellowship at Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions. He was the Medical Director of Clinical Chemistry, Pathology Informatics and Toxicology at the University of California Irvine. He is well known for his work in clinical pathology received the Warren L. Bostick Award for Excellence and the John Budd Golden Scope Award.
William Nguyen, MD
Surgical Pathology Director
Dr. William Nguyen is a board certified Surgical and Cyto-Pathologist with an emphasis on Dermatopathology and over 30 years’ clinical experience at various hospitals, including Corona Medical Center. He is a graduate of the University of Manitoba and completed his pathology and surgical pathology training at McGill University, Northeastern Ohio University and University of California, Irvine. Dr. Nguyen also was an assistant professor at the Western University of Health Science in Pomona.
Suzan Kavusi, MD
Dermatopathologist
Dr. Suzan Kavusi is a board certified Surgical and Dermatopathologist. She completed her anatomic and clinical pathology residency at UCSD Department of Pathology. She went on to complete her fellowship in surgical pathology at UCSF and dermatopathology fellowship at the Univeristy of Washington.
